My name is Hannah Goering, and I am a Chicago-based photographer specializing in photojournalistic wedding coverage. I received my BFA in Photography from Columbia College Chicago in May of 2008, and I am an active member of Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA). I have a passion for photography, and am always exploring new things. One of my biggest desires is to someday do documentary photography in Eastern Africa, where I spent a life-changing month in 2005 working for a non-profit organization, Christian Mission Aid.
I’m married (for a few years now) to a wonderful hubs, Josiah, and we live in Chicago with our cat, Ava. I’ve not always been a city girl, however – I grew up a dairy farmer’s daughter in rural northeast Iowa. [If you happen to be wondering what I'd like to eat at your wedding reception, it's steak. Medium-rare.] In my spare time I enjoy cooking, playing my piano and watching reruns of Arrested Development.
